"Gone but not Forgotten!"

"Boo-who! Boo-who!" Tears of joy are being shed since today is the last blog I will be making. I can say that I must admit that I have enjoyed this experience of putting my comments and ideas to be displayed on the computer. Blogging is useful (only when I could remember to do my posts/comments - smile- "Dr. Strange!")and I plan to use it in the near future! So long and I will always remember how I learned how to blog for the first time! Adios Amigos!

A Lesson in Life

I can truly say that this semester in EDM 310 was quite a rewarding experience. Although I've had prior exposure to a computer, my technological side was some what null and void. For the past sixteen weeks in class I have learned the following:

-How to do spreadsheets (which is a plus on my job!)
-How to create a website (I have become the envy of all my family)
-How to do a grade book and chart for my class in the future
-How to "correctly" use the features on Microsoft Word

I can say this class took a lot of time and patience on my part, but I am glad I had the opportunity. Since I am ready to go into the classroom, now I have more of a soild computer foundation that I can use to encourage my students to be more efficient.

"What a Web Creator"

"Musically Tasteful" is the best way to describe my web page. For our EDM 310 Web page assignment, I decided to discuss "My Favorite Male Gospel Singers." I really love music, gospel music especially. Since I grew up in the church, I have come to find that gospel music is truly a message within itself. When I get in the familiar place of feeling down or questioning life, I can just pop in one of my gospel cds and I feel much better.

If I could do something different to my web page, I wish that I could have added a button or a link that would either play a snippet of each gospel artist's music or have a site where you can get more information on them. I can say that after I finally figured out what I was doing, I was glad to see the final project. If you would like to take a look at my favorite gospel picks, just click here.
